• Change in Saturday Liturgical Schedule:
Starting April 20, 2013 we will add an all-English Divine Liturgy on Saturday evening. This Liturgy is being inserted on a trial basis. Please advertise to all those who might be interested.
New Saturday Schedule:
-4:30 PM – Great Vespers
-6:00 PM – Divine Liturgy
•Bishop David’s Pastoral Visit to Grande Prairie and Manning May 24-26, 2013.
-May 24 – Greeting Bishop David at the airport.
-May 25 – Divine Liturgy at 11:00 AM in Manning. Followed by Festal Meal with all gathered.
-May 25 – Vespers Service with Bishop David in Grande Prairie. Meeting with Pastoral Council after the prayer service.
-May 26 – Divine Liturgy at 10:00 AM – Grande Prairie followed by a festal meal for all gathered.
•Highlights from the Parish Council Meeting: (Summer Projects)
-Need to finish painting the outside back pillars.
-Front window to be fixed by Annabelle and Emile.
-Need to put up a sign on our lawn. Please bring forth your suggestions.
-The basement kitchen floor needs to be renovated.
•We are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator: The Eparchy of Edmonton has been preparing a protocol in an effort to create and maintain safer environments for children and vulnerable adults in our parishes: Working Together for Safer Environments: Policies and Protocols Regarding Abuse and Protection of Children, Youth and Vulnerable Adults. In order to effectively enact this policy the Eparchy has asked that a volunteer coordinator work with the pastor to help identify high and low risk positions and ensure that the proper paperwork is conducted. Training will be provided by the Eparchy. We are looking for a stable person
The Eparchy is asking for volunteer coordinator position per district to understand the requirements for people who work with vulnerable sectors. The requirement is to make a trip to Edmonton to discuss with father and the eparchy to oversee this role. This is to be a stable individual to allow for transitions between priests.
•Eparchial Children’s Camp from July 14-27
Ages: 7-14 years old
The camp runs July 14 to July 27th. You can choose to come for both weeks or just one.
The theme this year is A Wilderness Adventure through the sacraments. Learn about the seven sacraments in a fun, safe environment. Some of the many activities include beach days, crafts, archery, soccer, Ukrainian embroidery and more.

•Camp Counselors – We are looking for a few good young men and women to assist our dedicated staff.
