Catholic schools in Alberta have been providing an outstanding academic education for over 100 years. Currently there are approximately 140, 000 students enrolled in Catholic schools in the Providence. Graduates from oufschools have gone on to achieve great success provincially, nationally, and internationally. In addition Catholic schools afford the opportunity for our students to encounter Jesus Christ.

a) They encounter Jesus by learning about him through the catechetical programs taught in the schools.
b) They encounter Jesus by celebrating him in the liturgical and prayer life of the school and parish.
c) hey encounter Jesus through thewitness given by faith-filled and committed members of the school community.

It is this encountering of Jesus that makes our Catholic schools unique and it is for this reason that the Catholic community must never take their schools for granted. Stay involved With them and pray for them.

In order to show our support for Catholic Schools, at the entrance of the church you will find post cards, which are meant to be sent to our local MLA. Please fill one card per person (18 years +) and send it to our local MAL:
